CHIPS, which has more than 30 stores across the UK, will be hosting its seventh Annual Conference at noon on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at Ramside Hall, Co Durham.

This conference is your chance to unveil your top consoles, titles & accessories to its growing band of franchisees and staff.

Following the resounding success of last year's conference, a decision was taken to remain at the Ramside Hall venue and limit the number of stands so the CHIPS Conference retains its unique feel.

So if you want to be part of the fun, don't delay in signing up.

Various forms of sponsorship and opportunities available are listed below.


GUEST SPEAKER SLOTS

Speakers will be invited to give a presentation of 45 minutes. A sound system and screen will be provided and you have the opportunity to bring PODs and products

STANDS

Stand space is limited so you should book now to get 20% discount. Last year stands were taken by Sony, Microsoft, Koch, EA, THQ, Activision, Centresoft, Hobby Games, Computer Bookshops & Ubisoft.

PARTY STANDS

If you wish to provide entertainment at the dinner please contact Debra McCabe on 01642 658001 to discuss. Once again last year's "Games Room" was extremely popular and delegates and guests played on all the PODS into the early hours.

We are also open to suggestions for fun "game-related" competitions; tournaments etc.

GOODY BAGS

Goody bags will be presented to delegates at the end of the conference and promotional items can be included - 130 plus

STAFF INCENTIVES

In previous years CHIPS has ran a number of staff incentives which have been highly successful. Each incentive can be discussed on an individual basis with CHIPS.

AWARDS

In 2008 there will be FOUR awards to franchisees and staff. Each winner will receive a store plaque & trophy, bearing the sponsor's name and a £250 cheque. The categories are:

Franchisee of The Year - Sponsored by CP Waites
Newcomer of The Year - Available
Store of The Year - Sponsored by Faragher Jones
CHIPS Employee of the Year - Available

£350 for each award. (Sponsors can also add their own prizes to the individual winner) NB A popular choice so book early!

CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE

A contribution of £130 per person is payable if you require lunch, dinner and accommodation at Ramside Hall on Sunday, October 19, 2008. Rooms should be booked via Jess Hill - jess@chipsworld.co.uk and by completing the Booking Form below. Bookings will not be confirmed until the forms are returned to CHIPS and you receive an acknowledgement.

FULL names and room requirements also need to be filled in.

Please also complete your menu selection for the dinner.

NB A limited number of rooms are available on Saturday, October 18, prior to the conference for a special CHIPS rate of £118 - double B&B, £95 single. If you book yourself it will be more expensive. Other options are also available. Contact jess@chipsworld.co.uk as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THIS TO LAST MINUTE AS WE WILL START RELEASING OUR BLOCK-BOOKED ROOMS SOMETIME PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE. ROOMS CANCELLED AT LESS THAN SEVEN DAYS PRIOR WILL BE CHARGED.
